Bangladesh Scouts always encourages voluntary contribution towards development of Scouting. It also recognize the contribution and dedication of Adult leaders by decorating them with award and decoration. Bangladesh Scouts has its own criteria to recognize the deserving leaders by conferring these awards. “Silver Tiger” is the highest and “Silver Hilsa” the second highest award of Bangladesh Scouts. The Hon’ble President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and Chief Scout decorates the outstanding persons with the highest two awards for their invaluable service for the betterment of the community as well as the country. Besides, there are some other awards titled Commissioner award, National Certificate, Medal of Merit, Bar to the Medal of Merit, Long service Decoration, Chairman’s Award, CNC’s Award, Gallantry Award and the Like are given for rendering distinguished voluntary works.
