National Headquarters Building ofBangladesh Scouts

The National Scout Bhaban (National Headquarters Building) of Bangladesh Scouts is one of the architecturally important landmarks of Dhaka - the capital city of Bangladesh. It was established in 1982 which is situated at the cross-section of Inner Circular Road at Kakrail, the Prime and aristocrat location of the city. It's a fifteen-storied building with attractive architectural view. Fourteen floors are rented for commercial purpose and the rest is used by Bangladesh Scouts for Scouting activities. Its income adds the financial strength of Bangladesh Scouts. Total floor area is 7,125 sqm. The total area of the land is 0.867acre. For strengthening the activities of young people. Bangladesh Scouts has launched a plan for establishing a Sky-skapper Centennial Building in the remaining area, in memory of observing the hundred years of the Scout movement. More ...

 

4th Asia-Pacific Regional Air/Internet Jamboree
 

Scouts in Asia-Pacific campaign for peace
All across Asia-Pacific, over 200,000 people including Scouts, heads of states, government leaders and various sectors joined the Asia Pacific Rover Peace baton that traveled 40,000 kilometers in 24 countries.
     

Partnership Programme
Partnership is a healthy sign for qualitative and quantitative growth of the movment. It is in-built. It needs understanding and relationship skills to promote partnership. Bangladesh scouts has a significant achievements in implementing partnership projects with different NSOs.
 

6th SAF Scout Friendship Camp
The 6th SAF Friendship Camp was held from 12-18 October 2008 at the National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Gazipur, Bangladesh. The Scouts and Rover Scouts from SAARC countries have participated in this event.
 
     

National Strategic Plan
Bangladesh Scouts developed its strategic plan in 1992 with 10 priority areas for qualitative & quantitative growth of scouting. The plan was further revised in February, 2006 with a target of 1.5 million membership growth by 2013. More ...
