Bangladesh Scouts has its own library at the 2nd floor of the National Headquarters building. The library was established in the year 1983. In the beginning, the number of books was not satisfactory. Considering the needs of young people and the scout leaders the space and the number of books have been increased lateron. In this context a bilateral agreement has been signed between Bangladesh Scouts and BRAC (the largest NGO in Bangladesh) to establish a scout library named “BRAC Scout Pathagar” on 26 September 1999. Presently there are about 4000 different books in the library. Out of which there are a number of novels, stories, poetry, literature, history, mathematics, agriculture, children and juvenile, research books, magazines and books on Scouting.
Any interested scout and leaders can be the member of the library to read and lend books from the library by filling up a prescribe form. The library is open on five days in a week from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
