Financial Resources
The Scout organization has three major sources of income. When its fifteen-story Headquarters Building began its operation in 1982, a great portion of the annual budget comes from rentals of office spaces. The income from the Headquarters Building plus that of the National Training Centre total to 77% of the budget. 20% Financial assistance comes from the government and rest 3% from other sources.
As for its excellent image, Bangladesh Scouts has been successful in gaining substantial amount of financial support from the Government in conducting Adult Leader Training courses for the expansion of scouting. This support is still going on.
